Keyless (Keyless Go) smart key for Audis built on the MLB platform from 2016 onwards: the A4, A5, Q5 and Q7, and the newer A6, A7, A8 and Q8. The A4, A5, Q5 and early Q7 use the wider key with three silver buttons; the A6, A7, A8, Q8 and the 2020+ Q7 use the slimmer key. Both are MLB keys. The price depends on the key frequency: 433MHz keys (most UK and European cars) are KSh 35,000 and 315MHz keys (cars first sold in Japan, the US and some other markets) are KSh 45,000. Send us a photo of your key or your chassis number and we will tell you which one your car needs. Note: the A3, Q2 and Q3 use a different MQB key.

How it works
- 1Send your car details – model, year and whether you still have a working key.
- 2We confirm the key and price before any work starts.
- 3Bring the car to Kiambu Road or Westlands, or we come to you.
- 4We cut and program the key and test it on your car.
For all-keys-lost jobs we ask for the car’s logbook and the owner’s ID before programming a new key.
Questions
Can you make a key if I have lost all my keys?
Yes. We program a new key and delete the lost one so it can no longer start your car. Bring the logbook and your ID.
Do you come to me?
Yes, anywhere in Nairobi. Within 8 km of our branches there is no extra charge; further away the price depends on your location.
