Which alarm is best against hijacking?
The Autowatch 277RL. It has a strong anti-hijack cut-out switch with a switch-off button. The Afritec alarms do not have this switch.
What is an engine cut-out?
A relay that stops the car from starting or being driven while the alarm is set. The Autowatch 277RL and the Afritec Plus+ have it. The standard Afritec does not.
Will the alarm work with my car's central locking?
Yes. All three alarms lock and unlock the doors through your car's central locking.
Which cars can you fit?
All three alarms work on standard 12V cars, including Toyota Probox, Fielder, Axio and Vitz, Nissan Note, Honda Fit and most saloons and vans.
Do you repair or replace old alarms?
Yes. We repair faulty alarms and swap old alarms for a new Autowatch or Afritec.
Where do you fit alarms?
At our Kiambu Road branch, our Westlands branch at Museum Hill Centre along Muthithi Road, or at your location in Nairobi. Branches open Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.
