Check for a spare
Look for a second key at home or with family. If you have one, a copy costs much less than replacing every key.
Note your model and year
Find the model (A4, A6, Q5…) and year on your logbook. Audi keys change with the model and year, so the logbook tells us which key you need.
Call or WhatsApp us
Send the model, year and your location. We confirm the right key, the price and the time before we start.
We make and program the key
We program a new key at our branch or where your car is, and delete the lost key so it can no longer start the car. We check your ID and the car's logbook first.

Key with a chip head, no buttons
A key with a plastic head and no buttons is a transponder (chip) key. It starts the car but does not lock the doors.
Flip key
If the metal blade folds out at the press of a button, you have a flip remote key, as on many A3, A4, A5, A6 and Q7.
Remote key with buttons
A key with lock, unlock and boot buttons and a separate blade is a remote key, as on the A4, A5, A6, A8 and Q5 from 2008.
Push-button start (Keyless Go)
If you can start the car with the key in your pocket, you have a smart key with Keyless Go. Audis from 2016 onwards use one of two newer key systems: MQB on the A3, Q2 and Q3, and MLB on the larger A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, Q5, Q7 and Q8.

What is the difference between Audi MQB and MLB keys?
MQB and MLB are the two platforms Audi has used since about 2013. MQB is for the smaller cars like the A3, Q2 and Q3; MLB is for the larger A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, Q5, Q7 and Q8. The keys look similar but are not interchangeable, and MLB keys come in 433MHz and 315MHz versions depending on where the car was first sold.
