Ensure your drivers are always focused and alert. At Carkey Masters, we provide advanced DMS (Driver Monitoring Systems) that use an inward-facing AI camera to watch the driver, not the road. It instantly detects fatigue, distraction, phone use, and smoking, preventing accidents caused by human error.
Masters at Driver Monitoring
A distracted driver is more dangerous than a faulty engine. Our DMS is the only solution that ensures your driver is always fit to be behind the wheel.
The road isn’t the only thing you need to watch.
Our DMS watches the driver, so you don’t have to.
Wide Range Of DMS Safety Features
-
Fatigue & Drowsiness Detection: Instantly alerts the driver (and manager) if their eyes close or they show signs of falling asleep.
-
Distraction Detection: Detects if the driver’s head is turned away from the road for too long.
-
Phone Use Detection: Provides an immediate alert if the driver is holding a phone to their ear or looking down at it.
-
Smoking Detection: Identifies if a driver is smoking in the vehicle, crucial for fleet policy compliance.
-
Driver Identification: Can use facial recognition to verify the correct, authorized driver is operating the vehicle.
-
In-Cabin Audio Alerts: Provides an immediate voice or beep alert to get the driver’s attention instantly.

Frequently asked questions
Will my drivers feel like they are being spied on?
We recommend being transparent with drivers. The system is not “spying” it’s a safety coach. It is not recording their private conversations. It uses AI to look for specific risk events (like eye closure or phone use) to protect them from an accident.
Does the DMS camera work at night?
Yes. The inward-facing camera uses infrared (IR) sensors, allowing it to accurately track the driver’s eyes and head position even in complete darkness, without distracting them.
Will the system alert me every time a driver yawns?
No. The AI is smart enough to distinguish between a simple yawn and a “fatigue event.” It typically looks for a pattern of behavior, such as repeated yawning plus eye-closure, before triggering an alert.
Does the camera record video or just detect events?
It does both. It detects events in real-time. When a risk (like phone use) is detected, it can be set to automatically record a short video clip of the event, which is then sent to the fleet manager for review.
Can a driver turn off or block the DMS camera?
No. The system is hard-wired and professionally installed. Any attempt to tamper with, cover, or disconnect the camera will be detected and will instantly send an alert to the fleet manager.
